Disconnecting the Battery

  1. Turn the power switch to the Off position.

  3. Use a 7 mm socket to remove the 8 screws and the battery cover.

  5. Remove the screws securing the battery.

  7. Disconnect the 2 wire-harness connectors from the battery.
