Exclusion Zones

Exclusion zones are areas within a mowing zone that the mower is instructed not to mow. You can create an exclusion zone within an existing mowing zone during the setup process or after from the dashboard.

Common examples of exclusion zones include landscaping, flower beds, fire pits, protruding roots, pools, or any other objects the mower should not run into, such as trees.

Watch the video to see an example of creating an exclusion zone.

IMPORTANT

Not creating exclusion zones for hazards such as pools or retaining walls could cause the mower to fall, be damaged, or the blades contacting unintended objects.

Ensure that all navigational hazards are mapped within an exclusion zone.

IMPORTANT

The cameras on the mower are not an object-detection system.

Use exclusion zones to map any permanent objects.
