Smartphone Technical Requirements

The MyToro® app is compatible with Wi-Fi enabled Apple iPhone® iOS and Android™ smartphones.

  • It is recommended that your phone is less than 2 years old for optimal compatibility and user experience.

  • It is recommended that your phone has the latest system software update before downloading the app.

    Note:

    Look for the latest software updates in your phone settings or set your phone to auto update.

Smartphone Battery Charge

It is recommended that the phone battery is charged to 75% or above to ensure it does not shut down during setup.

Property Requirements

  • Internet connection within the home.

  • Modem, router, or switch with an (open) data port for the hub.

  • Power outlet near the modem for the hub.

  • Outdoor power outlet (110V - standard).

    • Must be within 7.5 m (25 ft) of the mowing area.

  • Level area for the charging station.

    • End of the charging platform can be no more than 50 mm (2 inches) higher or lower than the charging base 1.

  • Charging station must be located in an area in which 2 yard features are within 20 m (65 ft) of the station.
